Aside from the usual homework and work (blah), I'll be going out and enjoying the weather and doing some wine tasting and lunch. I went on a wine tour in SB last year and it actually turned out to be a lot of fun. I won't claim sommelier status, but I do enjoy some of the finer points of wine and expanding my palate.

In other news, I'm shocked at how many of my friends are making it to DomCon this year. It's not an amazing con but I wince a little knowing that they'll all be there together in their leather and latex, toy bags in tow. Oh well. I'm sure they'll take pictures and this isn't the first event I've had to put off. Last year I had tickets for Burning Man and had to sell them because it conflicted with the first week of school.

I notice there are some other Dommes here who seem to be returning college students or in grad school and that's heartening to see. Some days it feels like I am missing out on a lot of the fun. Do any of you have specific motives for going back to school?

Currently my backlog of email is piling up. I keep meaning to respond but...eh. I find it helps when people remind me they're still "there", otherwise I tend to forget. They are usually hideing from all of us and most of the times feel lonely/rejected/alone.

Mistake nr 2 that I keep hearing and people refuse to get.
